This closure is no doubt a symptom of bigger issues than just declining motorcycle sales.

ESG scores are a business investment concern and concern more that gay people. Harley is going to engage with the gay community regardless because, oh my, gay people ride Harley's too and as that scene is very large in San Francisco they would have been irresponsible not to do so.

Don't worry, last I checked it is not contagious.

You are correct sir. The Dudley Perkins was in South San Francisco off highway 101. BIG building and plenty of parking. They would have un-escorted demo rides on bikes back in the day. I took Road King out and the guy said "have fun". When they sold it was moved to downtown SF off Mission. Not a great neighborhood and really hard to park. That and more than half the store was clothing.

Maybe their lease was up and the folks that own that one and San Jose Harley said let's just combine the stores. SJ Harley is a fairly big store. Not sure the same folks own House of Thunder in Morgan Hill. Another BIG dealership.

Wait so one dealership in the one of the highest commercial rent area in the nation closes, and it's the end of Harley Davidson yet again!
Must be a new week so a new Harley is dead thread. Lol

You apparently run with a more affluent crowd than I do! 😂

So now the spiffy Dudley Perkins sweatshirt from 1995 that I never wore will be worth $1000 to a collector?

Great strategy for advertising, Chris. It worked out so well for Bud Light, didn't it. Catering to a noisy minority while risking alienating your core customers for the sake of virtue signaling is a great idea!

ESG Score ... An environmental, social, and governance (ESG) score is an evaluation of a company, fund, or security's performance against ESG issues. ESG scores are typically used by investors to assess a company's sustainability and ethical performance, and to guide their investment decisions.

You're not going to sit there with a straight face and tell us you've never watched Teletubbies, are you?
