I keep myself in pretty good shape. But this is the first summer where I feel this way. And I just don’t have the energy to ride I have been out riding a few times but only manage about 50 miles before fatigue settles in. Been to the doctor he just you or getting old. Anyone else been there I am seriously considering taking my social security at 62 and working part time so I will maybe have more energy for riding and doing other things like things that need to be around the house that I don’t seem to have the energy for
Some guys bodies quit making testosterone as they age. Your doctor can easily check that

good luck

A simple and cheap something to try. My wife began expirenceing similar symptoms. Turns out she was vitamin D deficient. Many people are and don't know it. Try taking about 5000 iu's of vitamin D for a couple of weeks, then reduce to 1000 to 2000 iu's. Overdoing it can cause it's own issues. You won't notice immediate results, give it some time.

Not saying you, but losing $20 pounds helps. Nurse said put 20lbs in a back pack and go walk around. In this thread, day shift would be the big thing I would think about too. Plus you have to gauge how physical your job is, and is it the job you want to go into retirement with,
