Not a road sign, but I found it funny

 

I dont have a pic, but theres a house on the other end of town wit a sign in the yard that says "Private sign, do not read".

 

Who’s job is it to check for compliance? 🤷‍♂️

 

This sign used to be on the Blue Ridge Parkway for travelers heading south between NC21 and NC18. I guess someone decided they needed it as it has been gone for years and never replaced.

 

Felt the urge to visit the Climax area. Luckily, the ride there is kind of relaxing and somewhat close to home. While you can ride there solo, the ride is better enjoyed while visiting with friends.



P.S. - Billsbuffalo, this is not your Road King Special. It may look similar to the one running around the UK with you, but this one is mine and it prowls the South Eastern states of the good Old USA.

 

Always makes me laugh on my way north.

 

I grew up in Climax, Michigan. A town so small that the only red light flashed all 4 ways 24/7/365.
They had 2 gas stations *1 went out of business), 2 places to buy liquor, and 2 bars.

This town was so small that in order to get a pizza delivered, you would have to take hostages in the bank.

 

Suppposed to Say "Boeing" but they forgot the bolts and the letters fell off...
