Hey- that is good info on TORX-PLUS, I have a full torx set but always notice that they dont fit the bolts very tightly, I think I will run over to Sears and get the right set. I also dont know why they use them, I assume because they hold better- wont strip? However I have never had an allen bolt strip, why not use them?

You forgot to use the torch....those bolts go through a lot of heat being on the caliper. Your working on it cold.....heat that sucker up and it will come out very easy.....just don't use a lot of heat - your damage the seal in the piston of the caliper.

To be honest, I didn't even think about that, I have done that many times before and it makes it a lot easier. I probably wouldn't have done it though, because I would've been afraid of screwing the caliper up.

Sheit yes, these days you can about strip an entire Harley down witha set of Torx heads....... (Literally!)
Glad your going again! I am not in love with the damn things either.........
