Cocky Ridaz - Los Angeles

RE: Cocky Ridaz - Los Angeles
I'll jump in here again. If you read through this post, you'll know I'm one of those American flag waving veteran types.
I believe every biker has a certain level of respect for any other biker. Sometimes us bikers can be very cynical about other biker types, but I think that's because we bring other bikers up to our level and it's easier to compare there. Athletes as an example. Their competition is their "enemy", yet they study, critique, and critisize them, not the fans in the stands. They'll beat each other up in the arena, yet buy each other a drink afterwards. Good stunters are very good at what they do. This came from a lot of practice, dedication, and determination. It is amazing what a good stunter can do with their machine. I certainly can not do that, but I respect their skills very much. This thread is not about the lifestyle of fellow bikers that have been drawn to another aspect of living on two wheels. It is about how some of us view the self-awarding of the military's Purple Heart Medal when they were only injured in their chosen civilian activity. That bothers me as much as I am sure it would bother the Cocky Ridaz if I wore a black vest with red "C"'s on the back and say to a TV show something like "Glad you came out to video the HD Rodeo. See all us guys wearing those red "C"s on their vests? We took that from the Cocky Ridaz patch and it is awarded whenever a club member does something real stupid and flips his ride over on himself."
Out of respect for what appears to be a very talented group of stunters, I would never do that. Yet they do the same thing with the Purple Heart medal. Instead of after the show saying "Wow, pretty cool bunch of fellow bikers. I said "What a pile of disrespectful a$$....."
Again, I feel a lot better. Gonna go ride now.

Being a senior rider on this forum only means I have posted over 300 times. It means nothing when it comes to my riding skills.
Just like you posted over 1000 tmes so your a road master. It means nothing.
So, since you werent able to figure out that simple concept, I put forth that you sir are the stupid one.
