RE: Battery Tender
I live up in Casa Grande and bought a tender when I got my scoot but really don't need it I drive every day. Get on and ride that will keep the battery up just fine, we were down there and rode Mt Lemmon a while back great ride!!!

RE: Battery Tender
The main differences between a Battery Tender Plus and a Battery Tender Jr. are:
Plus is $60, 10-year warranty, 1.25 amp/hr rate. Box sits between the wall and the bike. I hate that.
Jr. is $40, 90-day warranty, .75 amp/hr rate, nothing but cord between the wall and the bike.
I have an '05 FLHR bought in Dec '04. Still running original battery with a 98" Performance Revolution kit. I plug the charger in for 24 hours every 2 weeks if I ride it or not. Unneccesary? Perhaps. But it becomes habit and it ain't like it takes a long time.
