Thank you everyone for the kind comments. Today is day 10 and I had a doctor visit. The docs are very happy with how everything is healing. I started putting weight on my bad foot yesterday, and they told me keep doing as much as I can tolerate each day. Stitches come out next week.
Still a long road ahead, but the good news today was definitely welcome.

The damage that I can see is the right handlebar, engine guard, rear turnsignal relo, and the front fender looks a little off. Unfortunately, mud is preventing me from getting a better look.
I believe it fell on the right side and spun clockwise.

Glad it wasn't that very serious. Or it was?. I hit a big old doe a couple of years ago running about 40 mph at night about 1/8 from the house. My Saviour was riding with me. Came out with bumps and bruises and skinned up head. Looking at the pics. Your bike looks worse than mine. Although. Mine was a 1997 Road King. Indestructible battle ship. First deer strike in 52 years of riding. Argue with the insurance that it is totaled . Wishing you a speedy recovery and back on two wheels.
