Rich - Check
Urban - Check
Biker - Check
I guess I'm a RUB. I spent the '80s and '90s buying marginally economic oil and gas producing properties and nearly starving to death. With today's energy prices, well you figure it out.

RE: RUB living next door
Agreed, the weather in Mo. is in the 30's and the Wardens garage door is closed for the winter. But I'd like to reserve a post for next July when his neighbor gets a new RUB boy comin round. [&:]

RE: RUB living next door
I'm so happy with my Harley that all this RUB and Poser and Biker sh*t seems insignificant to me at this point. I worked my *** off for 25 years to get what I have, and believe me, there were years I didn't have jack, but after years of whining like a little girl, my wife finally consented to let me buy a Harley. Over the years I spent lots of money on some pretty good stuff but nothing that makes me as happy as my Harley. I refuse to cheapen that feeling with all this talk about Rubs, and who is a real biker or any of that crap. I'm happy with what I am, and comfortable with my life. I really don't care why anybody else bought their bike. If they are happy, good for them.

I don't get it. My wife and I get by alright, but when I see someone really succeed monetarly AND enjoy it I am really glad for them. I love when a plan comes together even if it wasn't mine.

I wouldn't worry abouthim or his "nice bike" comment.
Think of every idiot you encounter in your daily life.
If you let each one of them get to you, you'd go insane.
Look at it this way...your wife may get a great deal on some hardly used riding gear from the neighboronce the "flavor of the month" goes stale.

I dont know about "PUB", but I'm a PMB (poor mountain biker)! I have some stuff, but unlike my neighbor with his Road Glide, that I never see out of the garage, and his MBZ. He REALLY torques my nuts. He want s to go on all the rides that we go on, but is an a$$ the whole time we ride. His wife has a Star MC and he talks to her like she is a 2nd class person. Our local ridin crew doesnt even talk to him anymore. What a PITA!!!!!

The weather here(Tx) is gorgeous, its slow at work and I have a window 300ft from I10. I hear and see every hog that goes by and there are a lot of them going from Houston to San Antonio. The forum keeps me relatively sane.[:@]
OK, I'm bored.
