Default 2020-2021 Twin Cam 88 engines

I may have an opportunity to purchase a 2000 and/or 2001 TC88 bike(s) that have less than 20,000 miles each and have been sitting for a few years.

Sorry, original post said 2020 and 2021; perhaps wishful thinking on my part.

Other than the normal stuff for bikes that have been sitting and other than the pre-'07 cam chain (hit/ or miss) issues, is there anything that I should be paying special attention to before they go on the road? Any special concerns? I've had a bunch over the years, including the TC88 and TC88B but it's been a good while since owning one and sometimes you just don't know what you don't know.

Bruce Lee, - Tao of Jeet Kune Do famously said, "He who knows not and he knows not, he is simple teach him."

So, I invite the wisdom of the Brain Trust here to fill me in on anything(s) I should be paying special attention to and what to expect once they are on the road.

Thank you all in advance.

Umm, didn't the MoCo switch over to the M8 in 2017 or 2018?

I think Bruce Lee's grammar and syntax were horrible.

OOOOPS; I just edited my post to indicate the correct years - one is a 2000 and the other is a 2001. Sorry about that.

I'm innocent on that one; it was a copy and paste of his exact words.

Clean out the fuel system.
Change the fluids and battery.
Check the date codes on the tires.
Get it into the wind and work out any bugs.

If it's a touring bike, check the rear swingarm where the axle goes through. (might apply to Dynas too?) They can get weak and develop cracks. Also if fuel injected its the old type, difficult to get parts if something goes bad.

Thank you Jonas.

Battery is a few months old thankfully. I will do a three hole service and fluch brakes fluids.
Tire look good but at more than six years old, I will order and install new tires.
"Get it into the wind and work out any bugs." ROGER THAT. I will put a thousand miles or so on it up north during the summer, de-bug it, then use it as the Daytona bike. If I get both, the other is a bit banged up, it will be a Rat Bike project and I'll make it "mine" for a bar hopper.
