Larry Weaver might beg to differ with your opinion

Just use any U haul and hall ***. I am going to guess you never got on trips that require overnight stays. F____it thats what insurance is for or you can just sleep outside beside it.

Every time someone asks about a trailer this type of nonsense gets posted.

The guy asked for help, he didn`t ask who the real bikers were.

@Red Dragons As already posted, just stay in a decent hotel, secure the motorcycle and trailer with real security chain (not junk chain from a hardware store) and don`t obsess over the bike.

Moving is stressful enough without worrying about a motorcycle.

One more thing, don`t put Harley Davidson decals on an enclosed trailer.

Moved mine from Ca. to Mt. in the back of my pick up.Only stayed at a motel one night with it parked in front of the room.
Also had a Uhaul trailer behind it which would have not made an easy grab and go.

Haven't looked into shipping prices yet, but assumed that would be the most expensive option. Ideas?
U HAUL trailers are built stronger than almost anything you'll find on the consumer market. There is nothing sketchy or flimsy about them.
Maybe buy full coverage insurance for your bike before you bring it out into the big, bad world?

Appreciate it, Dan. It's funny how a straightforward question can elicit so much attitude from some people.

Rent a storage facility in Texas for awhile and leave the bike there. Fly back later and ride it to Colorado. New Mexico is some damn good riding.

Cost of a one way ticket and a couple of months storage and you get a nice ride in.
