I found this guy's site a few months ago when I did a Google search for Harley websites. As I read the rants, I realized that I agreed with some of the stuff he had to say but also realized that he was wrong in several areas and that he was wasting too much energy being pissed off at his fellow riders. I sent him a legitimate email (there has been activity on the site within the past year), with a few corrections on his stated facts, a couple comments about his "angst", and I even mentioned an area or two where I agreed with him. He never responded to the email and it has been about 2 months...maybe he bought a Harley and doesn't want to admit it.

Anyway, since he touts his "angst" with Harleys, I decided to look up the exact definition of the word in Webster's:

angst\'an(k)st : a feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity

I think that pretty much sums it up.

 

I really want a 200 mph screamin' sewing machine. But because I'm old, fat, wear leathers, occasionally dysfunctional and suffer severe psychological withdrawal without saddlebags, the rocket police won't let me ride anything but a Harley.

 

What a tool...to each his own - it's a free country and he can say what he want. But that freedome applies to me as well, and I'm free to point out what a complete j@ck@$$ that guy is.
