Yeah, legal here in Arizona. Seems like every cage thinks if they are in the HOV lane, they just have to be going faster than all the other lanes. Have to not only watch for those jumping in front of you, but the *ss barreling down behind you.

Legal here in GA, as previously stated....but not safe. The cagers in ATL use it for a passing lane, and it can be a bad thing for a biker. You can get pinned up against the concrete divider with nowhere to escape.

Yes They are legal here in VA. It's nice here because we have seperate lanes with on and off exits. So once you're on your on.
The one in VA between the Navy Base and Va Beach is pretty nice, there is usually not much traffic, it is seperate from the regular lanes and the speed limit is 65.

I don't think Arkansas has any HOV lanes!

Last summer while stopped at a Sonic to get out of a T-Storm, I was talking to the guy next to me on his bike. It turns out he was the Sherriff forPerry County Arkansas. He made the comment that there wasn't even one traffic light in all of his county!

Legal in the Evergreen State (Washington). If it wasn't for the HOV lanes, I wouldn't be able to get work and back.

They're legal everywhere. It's federal, not state controlled !!

No problem in and around Salt Lake City...The signs even say "Motorcycles OK"

Interesting to know about the Fed. law, though. Thanks for posting.

Legal in Ma.....MA actually passed a law allowing motorcycle use of the breakedown lane in heavy traffic. I'll have to find the write up.....I have not partaken in this new law as of yet, and not sure how the police would react to a bike bombing down the breakdown lane in heavy traffic either.

All the HOV(or most of them) signs in NC indicate that scoots can use them.

Thinking there ain't an HOV lane within 1000 miles or more from here.[sm=biker.gif]. Probably have lost all the old urban survival skills at this point....
