Cleaning motorcycle?

RE: Cleaning motorcycle?
I don't like it. They say spray it on and wash it off but that's bs. It leaves a film that must be wiped off with a towel afterwards. When I use regular car soap and water and then blow dry it off with the leaf blower, it's ready to ride - no wiping. I haven't tried pigsnot or S100...
To be honest though - washing vs "spray on- rinse off" only saves about 15 minutes for me - it doesn't take that long to wash the entire bike.

I use the bike brite. It's what the hd shop uses. They cut it 50% though. For heavy dirt, use full strength.I have one bottle cut 50% with water, one full strength.

The best thing for cleaning my bike that I have foundis my girlfriend! I was out cleaning the bike today in Georgia heat, girlfriend comes outside with a drink and a smoke for me. Then she grabs a rag and goes to town on the chrome! I was shocked.

$1.50 and 4 minutes at the local do-it-yourself car wash. Careful with the high-pressure wand around wheel axles andinstrument faces.

Thanks to all of you.I will stick to my tried and true ways.Bumped into a biker the other day that said I should try Bike Brite. My usual is Simple Green sometimes Pink Stuff, rinse, then have compressed air to dry.AutoSol is the paste I use on all polished aluminum.Always trying to keep up on the latest and greatest.

Be careful using compressed air...I used to use my compressor and then I learned what others already knew: The compressed air also has a little bit of oil in it so once in a while I was having to wipe the oil streaks off. Switched to a leaf blower and haven't had an issue since. I'd like to try that Air Force blower thing but not at the cost...
