Ummmmm…….guess I’ve been missing out on all the comfort by using an Ultra Limited or Road Glide Ultra for cross country touring all these years.

I would say they lumped those in with the Road/Street Glide...

This is the first CCE article I've opened in years... simply because I fully expected to see the Livewire listed as #1.

Same. If one is considering taking "cross country" in the literal sense, by going over the mountains and through the woods ie: off road, then an adventure bike would at the top of the list, with nothing else even ON the list.

If you plan on taking actual roads LOL, then the Heritage or Road/Street Glides - absolutely. I've tested the Fat Boy and I just couldn't do long runs. Pretty fast in a straight line. Lots of work to turn. I know many like it though. I couldn't. Low Rider? Maybe. Never rode it.

other than the Fat Boy I can see it, when I was younger and didn't care so much for gear and wind protection I probably would have taken it first! As the Harley Pan America can lower itself at a stop it would be the only ADV I would ride let along long distance

Shouldn't this article have been written by someone who actually rides motorcycles? Asking for a Curated Content Editor.
