The original style Heritage Classic deserves more attention, the newer one has saddlebags that don’t do it justice. Bring back the older looking bags.

Didn't the earlier style bags get soft and floppy after a few years?

HD needs to find some decent looking cast wheels for the Heritage. Tube type tires are a deal breaker for me on a road bike.

Yes they did and you had to turn to the aftermarket to stiffen them up.

Seriously, how many flat tires have you actually had on motorcycles? I've ridden for 42 years and 354,000 miles and had exactly one flat tire. I'm not going to worry about it.

Well Curated Content Editor, what ever that is, maybe Harley should quit using chicks as the models for these and other bikes. I know how simple minded and misogynistic this may sound,
But who wants to ride a chicks bike

I ride cast wheels and tubeless tires to avoid that one.

Or at least be able to plug it. I’ve had six flats in six years on my truck. Nice to be able to plug them.

Then there's the rider that wants simplicity. Just a plain old no frills, no whistles, no bells motorcycle. I do not need a CANBUS or ABS system either. The NEW Heritage Classic is just FUBAR. I don't need no stinkin Heritage.

I have been riding since the late Sixties. I have had four flats that I can remember, all with tubes, none of them close to home. I plugged a flat on my buddies Dyna with my BMW tubeless tire repair kit repair kit. My brother had to get his Heritage towed out in CO due to a flat.
In 1984, I bought a set of Lester Mags for my '77 BMW Airhead so I could run tubeless tires. Tubeless and tubed tires are usually the difference between a roadside repair and the need to call a wrecker for your disabled bike. I dicked around with tube tires on motorcycles for a lot of years and I believe they are obsolete.
