I think the fact that most if not all major American companies have become Globalist, by default makes that an American practice.

I will **** a whole of people off with this but...
We did it to ourselves. Unions and such demand that a "living wage" be paid, ie 15 an hour to make a cup of coffee. Then American consumers demand a 5.99 ratchet wrench.
The Market responds with China making all the parts that unskilled assemblers use to make a motorcycle... Threads all over this place whining about the cost of a motorcycle, then come here and complpain that they are not made with American parts. Cant have both.

Nah, I don't think you'll get much argument on that. We all saw the Wal-Martization of America. Wal-Mart used to be proudly, overtly American and promoted Americana. But as they pandered to the low price crowd, eventually everything Made In America that they used to sell, got replaced with the cheapest made-anywhere crap that they thought they could hock.
If you really wanted to **** off the folks in this thread, you'd point out that the X350's total MSRP is actually lower than the "additional dealer markup" fee that some Harley dealers are slapping on desirable bikes like the LRST El Diablo. And cheaper than the "limited edition" paint job cost they charge on the bigger baggers.
Or you'd point out that the X350 has no chrome at all. Anywhere.
But those are reasons why this little bike actually stands a good chance of succeeding in its target market.
