I ordered a Haynes repair manual from Haynes about $50 called the local dealer had them order the parts manual $72.
It really makes me feel like I'm getting ripped off going to a dealer.
I guess Haynes merged with Clymer now look for a Haynes manual if needed.

Nowadays I order directly from HD website because of free shipping and no tax. Usually get my stuff in 2-3 days.

Hope it works for you. Those aftermarket manuals for Harleys were ****, maybe yours is better than the one I got for my Dyna. Gave it away, and coughed up for the HD.

The HD manual price is terrible, but they really are worth it.

Parts manual is an excellent buy as well....they offer part numbers and exploded views of various systems. Those are great if the service manual does not show something or you want to see how things go together.
Yeah, the manuals are expensive, but I would not be without. Also check your office supply or Fed-EX office stores about cutting the bound backing off and putting a spiral binder on. That sure helps when you work on bike and have the manual open....pages lie flat and don't move or close on you. That's about $20 for both service and parts manuals. At least here.
