Hard to believe that Waylon and Johnny are gone. I truly miss those dudes ... Willie and Kris, last of a dying breed. IMHO there are few, if any, country artists, who can live up to these four.
Just wondering how many of you were lucky enough to see these guys in live concert? Here's a link to a song they sang in concert; one of my favorites. Every time I watch/hear this song it sends shivers up my spine. This song seems to pull at my soul. It creates such a longing inside of me. Listened to the CD while mowing the lawn this morning...It is the best damncountry CD ever made. EVER!

 

I never had the chance to see The Highwaymen live but sure wish I had. I am a huge fan of Waylon and Johny Cash and kick mysdelf for not going to see them when they were out and about touring. I have seen Willie many times and will be seeing him again in a couple of weeks playing with Merle Haggard and Ray Price at the Champlain Valley Fair.
