If the problem is the bar riding the back of the passengers leg I recommend the comfort bag guards and they are $145 in the Harley catalog. just my .02

A little off topic, but, what is available to relocate the passenger floorboards and make them higher???
Used the sameguards on my Road King because the factory units were digging into the wive's calves. She never had a problem after I installed the new guards.

looks like I am going to get the 07 RG demofor $16.500+tax . has all kinds of chrome they are giving me and S.E pipes (screaming quiet ! ) I don't think I can argue with that . I'll upgrade the brakes later. Do any of you think buying a demo is a bad idea ? My friends think it is because people beat them . I figure screw it, it has a full warranty .

Triple Buzz - Congrats on the new (to you) RG. As far as buying a demo goes, if it rides good, is quiet mechanically as it should be, and overall feels solid, I would drop the coin in a minute. That sounds like a great deal.

BTW - You probably figured this out already, but the RG does not come with saddlebag crash bars, so your wife should be plenty comfortable on it. Good luck and post some pics when you get a chance.
