Default Battery Tender Pigtail Placement

I have an '03 Fatboy. I just put on the Battery Tenderharness and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to place and secure it. The pigtail is pretty long. I thought I'd just stuff the excess in front of the battery then hang the connecterunder the seatsecuredtothe frame by a cable tie.

I plan on using it with heated gloves this winter. So, some of that length may come in handy then.

Any tips would be appreciated!

i know that our frames are different, but mine hangs out of a hole thats directly under my seat. when needed, i plug it in- when not in use, i can tuck it away.

however, it came with the bike, but i would imagine that id use zip-ties to tuck the excess wiring away.

My battery is directly under my seat.

I was just going to stuff the excess cable in the battery box in front ot the battery then connect the male/female end to the seat frame.

I can't really think of a better way to do it. That's why I'm looking for suggestions.

Mine is routed down in front of the battery behind the oil tank. Don't have it tied down and the only time I notice it is when I'm either cleaning or working on bike.

Thanks for the tip. It fits there perfectly!

The reason I got a battery tender is I had a 95 big bore kit installed about 4 months ago. Since then, the engine has been harder to start cold. The guy at the shop told me to get a tender. I bought one about the same time (4 months ago) but just haven't tried it.

I just tried starting the engine cold on a fully charged battery and it started like new again.

Thanks for all the replies!
