It's not in the market yet and it already has three recall bulletins?

HD needs to build a Pan Am to compete directly with Triumph's Tiger 900 GT.

But possibly its closer competitor will be the Ducati V2/V2s at 938cc. Depends the horses.

If it will be 100hp plus you are also competing with the Africa Twin which is 102hp even if she is a 1080cc.

If the small PA will be -100hp then apart the Tiger 900 (94hp) you are also competing with the BMW F850 GS (99hp)....

That thing is freaking ugly. I wouldn't ride it to a dog fight!

Harley better fix ALL the issues with the First Pan AM before they worry about making a newer model. I don't think the Pan Am has been very successful.

I don't care about HP as long as the bike has 90+ and a good power-to-weight ratio. I'm more interested in the TYPE of bike the mid sized Pan Am will be, and that it will be somewhat mid sized instead of full sized with reduced engine displacement. I want a "pavement adventure" bike with a 19" front wheel, cast wheels, and a 32" max seat height.

Selling well and goes well, sweet engine.
Its 5 years late to the party and there is a lot of very good competition.
Its also a ball boiler, that rear pot is too close to the nuts.
