What tools will I need in general for the bike?
I'm going to pick up a drill and dremel for some work around the house and a liscense plate side mount bracket I'm making. I figure I may as well invest in some good tools as well. Anything in particular I should look for while selecting a tool kit? I know I will need torx bits, open ends, sockets etc., but anything special I might be forgetting? Thanks.

Snap ring pliers, make sure you have T-27 torx, and I have always found that a good set of allen sockets was pretty useful. One other thing that has proven invaluable to me is a set of dental tools, I think I got them at Northern.

I'm a jet mechanic, mainly the weapons systems, but I know how great those dental picks are. I can't believe I overlooked them! They are great for stabbing co-workers who keep borrowing tools and not bringing them back.

I'll second the T27 torx! Seems half the time that's what I need! Kindof hard to find sometimes too, seems like if you try to get a set of torx screwdrivers or bits, they are always missing that T27 size! I have two T27 bits, and I think one of them I 'swiped'!
Dental tools, allen wrenches, racheting wrenches are the most used items as well. (05 EG Standard)

you planning on doing all your own work ?
you better look at just being a regular stop for the Snap-on or Mac Tool trucks
