amen. i cut just a bit too much off mine although it is cut about even with my nose as recommended so i am just looking over it. no problem until around 70mph then get a lot of buffeting. my eyesight is like looking through a vibrating mirror. if i just crouch down behind the windshield everything if nice and steady.guess i'll have to assume this position for longer highway rides. i dont' like looking through the windshield especially right around the edges - too much distortion and glare.
a poster above mentioned something about an adjustable windshield. that would be great (maybe).

you really should ride a a bike equiped with a shorter ws before buying a new one, especially after becoming used to the regular height. The additional amount of wind buffetting with a shorty can be significant.
