Wheelie on Your Harley Davidson
#11
Popping a whllie is a start, holding the bike at balance for a couple hundred feet is skill. (I can ride them until my front wheel almost stops spinning on my dirt bike WR450F) My bagger may wheelie but I am not gonna find out and put the stearing head under that kind of load when it drops down, of loop the SOB, done that lots in the dirt. But big props to those animals who do, that is some crazy stuff...

My FXDLS was a wheelie machine after the cams and dyno tune, I mean that to say it didn't take much clutch work to get it in the sky.
I learned on my big sport bikes, a misspent youth. I have totally outgrown that silliness, but my bagger has lofted a few small ones with a good back tire, a few times, inadvertently. Mostly, my 128 just burns back tires
My WR426F that I bought new, and still have, is my wheelie monster. I can get my balance point perfect, and ride one for miles...

You can wheelie about anything if you try hard enough. Even my first bike, a 25hp cbr250r would do them pretty well. I don't think harleys are really built for it but some of the dyna bros ride on one wheel more than 2. I imagine its pretty hard on the bike. I have done a few on my dyna but the small kind couple inches off the ground when the rear tire hooks just right, not trying to clutch it up. But yeah I'm not buying a used harley with pictures of it standing on one wheel, makes me wonder what other kind of abuse the bike has been through.

Riding home from a rally 15+ years ago on my Sportster I had a car come into my lane and it pissed me off. I changed lanes and got next to them at the next light to give the one finger salute and let them know they were stupid.
Back was loaded with my tent, sleeping bag, clothes, etc so when the light turned green and I dumped the clutch, the front end came up much easier than I expected. I let her down easy on the other side of the intersection and it turned my frown upside down.
