When I see "FRAM" on anything, I run. Google it and read the review an engineer did of their filters. He even did destructive testing and tore them apart to show what's going on with them. They have been known to fall apart in use (according to the Engineer). What's interesting is that the Fram filter is better made than the new HD filter. So Fram is junk and HD is junk's junk. I'm going with WIX for the win. I thought I heard $12 for the Fram. That's way high. WIX is cheaper esp. if you buy a bunch of them at the same time. Always buy filters by the dozen. I bought a whole box of filters for my new F150. When I use the last one, I'm getting a new F150.

Here's something else. The old 1996 HD filter is far superior than the new HD or the Fram. The reason is because that's when HD was building EVO's, known to be the best bike's HD ever built. Coincidentally, I happen to have an EVO Road King. I'm not biased at all though.

Cheapest bidder I'm sure. I don't think I've ever heard a name though.
