You won't need more octane than pump premium (about 92 octane) unless you have some firebreathing type engine with a 10:1 or more compression ratio, or a high boost turbocharger.
My old ironhead has 9.5:1 compression ratio. She runs just fine on pump premium at about 92 octane.
