Hmmm...wouldn't the re-sell values go UP for any existing Harley's if Honda did buy them out?
I mean, most buyers would want the real thing as opposed to buying the ones Harley/Honda puts out.

Obviously something is going on, HD is looking for a partner or something, to many recent realistic rumors, could be a good thing, I think the value of a real HD would go up like crazy, Not to sure why any company would not want to buying or take over such a customer loyal company, I have had sport bikes, all kinds and know many who are the same not loyal to any brand, that is until you come to a cruiser HD is the only choice.

Think of all the rumors, HD want to have water cooled motors, the best way for them to get them is to use another company's motors that have been time tested, any of the rice burners would be a good choice. HD may be taking baby steps and being very careful because they don't want another AMF nightmare. I think the stockholders would approve it hands down, look at the article, it says the stocks again took a big jump and there was allot of trading just on a rumor.

Bottom line it's all about money!
