I was browsing CL this morning. I like to check out the bikes and sometimes see what others do. Whike doing this i often see people call their bike custom so I read on to see why. Does installing an air cleaner really make it " custom"? To me no, it's just a simple bolt on that 90% of other bikes have.

There is no point to this im just taking a dump and wanted to write something lol

 

Folks wanna feel like they own something special when the fact of the matter is they already do...X's 2...their Soul and a Harley.

I just finished up customizing my handlebars on my weeks old '22 Heritage 114 and now?...they feel perfectly positioned and "Custom Fit" "to me" LOL!

 

My bike is stage 1 so definitely custom

 

I'm pretty sure both of my bikes are one-of-a-kind, so they are definitely custom!

 

See it in here all the time, guys come through crowing about their " builds " or customs and it's all bolt on bling from some catalogue on a stock bike.

I live 150 miles south of Daytona and made it to every Bike Week and Biketoberfest between the years of '00-'10 and with few exceptions?....most anything I'd consider "Custom" starts out something like this...

The Kuryaken catalog makes your bike a custom. Every dragon/skull/reaper themed bike on Craigslist proves it

 

Here's what makes a bike custom: Craigslist. Because every bike on Craigslist is custom. Also, every bike on Craigslist is rare. Especially for people who got suckered into paying extra for Anniversary Edition stickers.

 

Its like a CVO, but you picked out the parts and paint yourself.

 

ppffff.. none of you have a custom. Mine is full custom. No bigger custom out there.. it's vivid black after all...how much more custom can you get? That's right....you can't!
