Unless they, the dealership themselves has done something to make these bikes illegal I don’t see this as much other than a stunt. It will be interesting to learn more details and see if the MoCo gets involved.

These groups are usually driven and funded by people out of the region just wanting to stir stuff up and see what comes of it.

Sad part is the dealership has to defend themselves. $$$$$$

 

Imagine that going after a product that even IF it has been reworked is probably still getting way more MPG's than most things on the road. Some people.

it isn't about mpg. and even if it were, there are a multitude of cars out there that get better mpg than most of the tour bikes. a motorcycle puts out more pollution than most automobiles, but due to economy of scale, it isn't as much of a problem. if you really want to see a polluter, take a look at your lawn mower. if everyone's car put out as much pollution as your basic lawn mower, los angeles pre epa would be the norm everywhere.

 

And I suppose the Doctors are okay with the kids modifying the exhaust on the little cars, some are louder than some HDs.

I think only the trains serving Kennecott Smelter pollute several times more than all the motorcycles in Utah not speaking of smelter pollution itself. Prob some multidealership owner wants to take the business so playing the environmental card. There are no bigger crooked and corrupted ****** than environmental activists.
