RE: Sad day
I feel your pain bassrock...I put mine away two weeks ago for the long sleep. Can only get about 4 months of good riding here. More if you don't mine the wind, cold, snow and road crap like salt and sand.[sm=boohoo.gif]

Well, As you know, I'm here in Minot, North Dakota, and I still ride if the roads are dry. I have a full face helmet I wear in the colder weather, and some lined gloves, but will need to get some mittens for anything below 40 degrees! Other than my hands, I do just fine in the colder temps, but over time I need to wear some warmer socks though......just feels good to ride, and get away from babysitting the children that come into the military these days![&:]
Tried riding today in 35 degrees without the fullface and gloves, after about 7 miles, I called it quits!!

Took my bike out for a nice ride. It was 58 when I left. Don't really know how many more days I'll have. Time is dwindling.

I know how you feel. I have my Jeep to get around in winter with, but for the first time, I really would like to skp winter so I could ride my Harley more. Oh well, spring will get here sooner or later.

I couldn't bear it -- so last year I bought a covered trailer. Went to Florida in February and rode the lower East, South and West coast. Drank umbrella drinks in Naples Florida and listened to Jimmy Buffet. This winter We're headed to the Texas Hill Country around March. The trailer unlocked my motocycle handcuffs!
