Default Wheel chock

BIKER BAR above all the rest. With straps you are constantly adjusting the straps during travel. BIKER BAR set it and forget it.

I researched the Biker Bar extensively a while back and it does appear to be a good product.
It is a bit pricey however and if I recall it’s kind of a single use application in that different styles of bikes require different bars.

I don’t see however by design how it would come loose during travel if it’s installed correctly.
But it only takes one time to not be installed correctly or a catastrophic failure to make for a bad day so using it alone wouldn’t be something I’d do.

I personally would never use a single method of tie down simple due to if the single method fails the bike’s going over.
Even if I used the Biker Bar I would still install 2 straps for back-up/peace of mind.

That is a VERY good point Sir. While (when done properly) it may be the best option, I don't think I would like having to put it on the bike and take it off every time I wanted to trailer the bike - which apparently is what is needed.

I am going to go with the Condor Chock. Which version is still in question for me though

Right now, I need to replace my mirrors as they are as loose as hell and flop all over the place.

One fits my Road King and my Hammer. The other my Interceptor. Highly recommended for transporting a bike with no stress on the bike. Made right here in the USA

You mentioned that you have never trailered a bike before. I have no recommendations for a wheel chock that hasn't been mentioned already.

As an FYI, if your bike has a security system then make sure it is in transport mode when trailering. Otherwise, the alarm will be going off constantly and you will have a weak to dead battery when you arrive at your destination. Your Owner's Manual will have the procedure to enable/disable transport mode.

Bone Doc - my bike isn't new enough for a security system, other than me - but thank you for the tip none the less

Good information in this thread. I have a 5x8 utility trailer with a $20 wheel chock. I used it occasionally with my FXR but I had to use it with my Ultra bringing it home from FL. It worked but I plan to get something better. I really like the Wheel Dock and it supports a small business and MADE IN USA. I'll have to get one if I end up using the trailer for the bike again. I plan on riding the Ultra on most trips but you never know.

I have a Trackside “roll-on” wheel chock that I picked up after towing my bike the last time without a chock and bending my jiffy stand. Little under $100, and quite solid. Can and should be bolted to a trailer or the floor. I haven’t had to haul my bike with it yet but it holds my bike up just fine in the garage.

only deal breaker may be is that a 120mm front tire is probably they largest you’ll safely get into it. I believe the condor may work better for 130mm+ front tires.

Just returned from swapping my Electra Glide for my Heritage Softail Classic. Nine hundred miles each way without a hitch using the BikerBar. Long trip but somewhat uneventful. I seem to have no issues with the BikerBar.

Condor are great. I use one on a Road King and another on a Heritage (staggered in 7 x 14 enclosed trailer). Very secure and easily removed to use the trailer for other stuff.
