Default Heat deflectors

Hubby was looking for something to deflect the oil tank heat on the deluxe and found this: http://www.pekingenterprises.com/

I'm not real keen on the look but might be a though for some of the heat issues I've had? I actaully get heat through teh seat and on one side.

That has been my only thought. They are Nagahide for $200? Hubby wants me to get it and return it if it doesn't work. I'm always a bit wary about buying from an unknow company. Oh here is thier other site https://www.koolking.net/.

Looks like they are out of Florida.

Bluerose, Wife has these on her's, and it helps ALOT.And they are a bitcheaper too...

http://www.rjsoriginals.com/

They look good, and work really well. Hers are the plain ones, no studs ect.. easy install (about 10 minutes) Heat is much less of an issue. Of course, as will any heat shield, they are designed to help when moving. When stopped in traffic, nothing helps...

Actaully did talk to the Fried Thighs Guy....He is still on my list but at the time I thought it might be the pipe. Turned out it wasn't.

Most of my issues are while moving. Only on long rides. Kuryakan came out with heat deflectors for the softail (http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3613) that look like the ones they have for the touring bikes (http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3352). They are only $70 without a discount.

Have a friend that has a set...she just went to Sturgis from So. Cal. so I'm hoping for a report.
