Just read an Elvis story(30years on)in USA Today.com that Harley Davidson is considering doing a remake of his 57 Harley. Anyone heard anything about this? The news story is in today's website.

I heard something about Graceland Harley doing a *Special Edition* Harley, not sure if were the MoCo doing it.

That's a local dealership that has a bike Elvis owned. Not positive, but he may have bought it from them as well.

Yes, Elvis was a Harley nut and had many of them over the years. The one in the video is a 1975 FLH. But there is no such thing as a 57 KH.

 

Elvis dead 30 years! Oh lord I'm getting old. I worked for the Univ of Oklahoma Police Department back in '77 when he came through for a concert at the Lloyd Noble Arena (2 nights). I worked right off the stage edge (stage left) on the first night, and I had one of his scarfs come across my head when he threw it in the crowd. Thought I was going to lose my head as the women clawed and scratched to get that dang scarf. The 2nd night I was assigned backstage and got to help escort him out of the building ... the phrase "Elvis has left the building" will always have special meaning for me.

Okay ... here's a piece of trivia for you Elvis fans ...

In the '64 movie "Roustabout" what little red motorcycle did Elvis ride? Hint, it twain't a Harley.
