A brand new one? I doubt it... unless you’ve got a friend at a dealership that is already ordering police bikes.

 

And why the heck would you?

 

FWIW my buddy bought a new police Electra Glide a few years ago from the dealer. I don't think you can order one, but if a dealer has one in stock you can buy it.

A friend of mine bought a new police Road King last year. He said the dealer had to keep it for a certain time period in case a law enforcement unit wanted it first, so it took a few months waiting, but he got it. I find it interesting that the police bikes are available in a much wider choice of colors than the civilian bikes.

I've been offered used police bikes before.

 

Why ask why?

 

They are setup for other uses. If it is a police model it value drops on the used market. Once you have it the switches and controls can be harder to come by . only reason most purchased them used was they sold cheap.
Different story with the ones sold that are just LE edition.

 

I had a guy buy that was buying a bike from me show up on his new Police model RK. He said he ordered it and went and picked it up at the factory. He was not in any manner law enforcement-related.
