I had to do something with my Kaw's 'pancake' horn! I tried the Denali and was sold. I found a spot on the lower right front of the engine to install it as that bike has no frame under the motor.

I got another for the Dyna, and with small modification I fit one under my stock cover as well.

Great sound for not a lot of money.
$35 well spent & worth every penny!

Like SoldierBot, I have the Custom Dynamics Mini-Beast. Replaces the stock horn just fine. And to me, it sounds like the old Army Duece-and -a-half!!

Yup. I needed my horn today when a guy in a Ford Explorer wanted to share lanes at 80 mph.
I went for the horn but gave him my high beam instead. POS design on the 95 and earlier hand controls.

I don't know about the 95 and earlier hand controls. But when I tried to use the horn on my '07 it was much more difficult then the little
button on my metrics had been. After a few years, and a little practice, using the Harley button was a little easier. But is was still more difficult then it should have been.

Especially in an emergency situation. That means alerting a cage driver of my presence before he does something stupid.

Then I got a "LifeSaverHorn", I think it is called a Horn Trigger now, and made the process much easier.

Harley Brand storage tube. Used to use it quite a bit before just going with a swingarm bag.

What did you have to do? Did you modify the horn or the cover itself?

The cover. I removed the tab that normally would bolt to the motorcycle and added my extended tab to the motorcycle and bolted the horn and cover together on the low side. I used the bracket that I think (?) came with the horn. Hope that helps!

Get a bicycle jingle bell on your handlebars.
That way all the kids will think the ice cream man is coming .

I use the chrome Wolo Bad Boy mounted in place of the cow bell.
I use a circuit breaker instead of a fuse because when I use it I tend to run it until the fuse would blow.
The horn will come loose from the compressor after a few years.
A zip tie will hold it in place for a few more years.
It would last longer if I split the horn from the compressor and mounted them separately.
