Default Tri Glide Firefighter edition? need some help

Currently looking at a 2012 Tri Glide for sale, being advertised as a Firefighter edition, but cannot seem to find one piece of info that authenticates this to be a firefighter edition. I am not real familiar with them and the rules that apply to them. I am afraid this may have been a custom job by the original owner. Any guidance is appreciated. I have a call into Harley and have been on hold for a while.

Never heard if it. When you Google…look for ‘edition”…not “addition”…although it may have been an aftermarket “addition”.

Anyhow.,thanks for your service to the community.

It sounds like a home made special edition to me.

I ride a 2007 Harley FIREFIGHTER SPECIAL EDITION.

They've been making them for years.
Special badging and a SHRINE vin
NOT sure if they did a trike model.......
But check out the VIN here.
https://www.techsweb.us/hdvin2001.html
Could have been a two wheeler made into a trike........

I finally talked to Harley customer service, its a Tri Glide, there has never been a FF edition Tri Glide, ( would have been cool) I contacted the dealer of origin, they claim they don't know anything about it when I asked if they were the ones that may have done the custom work. I mean you'd never know it wasn't one, someone did an excellent job on the striping, badged covers, badged front fender and a special extra loud HD horn that looks like a large car horn.

Guess Il call it a Firefighter 1 and only model
Thanks guys

Not an official Harley designation. Definitely a one off made by a dealer or customer.

You have to wonder why they advertise that it was a FF Edition. Wonder what else they misled you on,,,,

Default tri glide

I just think they guy that's the sales manager and doing listings hasn't a clue about Harleys since it isn't a Harley dealer selling it. I wish it was but it isn't. There mechanic seems to be competent.
Either way its a low mileage bike, i am reaching out to the FD bike groups in the area to see if anyone recognizes the bike

Sure is a nice Tri Glide. What are they asking for it?
