HD Lithium Battery (new/updated version)
I'm still on my original OEM battery from 2016 and have been meaning to pick up a replacement battery. When the HD lithium first came out it peeked my interest. We all know how they ended up, horrible reviews, horrible experiences. My local dealer wouldn't even sell me one.
Anyways, I was just on the MoCo's website and it looks like they are releasing a new version of the lithium battery. Does anybody know anything about this?

Lithium batteries in HD's have always been hit or miss, mostly miss..... no way I an risking getting stranded because of one, not to mention the chargers/tenders/testers are different for them
OEM (even though I know they are DEKA) batteries for me.... sealed lead acid or whatever was OEM.... works every time if cared for.

I was just talking about this the other day in my shop - Didnt all batteries years ago come with a 5 year warranty, I mean........i remember the month and year round stickers on top of the battery that the dealer would scratch off & if that battery failed before its time you were pro-rated on the next battery.
this 3 year battery crap is ridiculous & if you get 4 years they tell you how lucky you are & this country is wanting electric vehicles............ when those rechargeable batteries are no longer any good it only costs 10-12k to replace em - thats a lot of gas.
