LOL, and as the one who started it, I was a bit surprised at its "resurrection"!

And for those who failed to see that while the V-Rod in question was a production bike, it wasnot the normal on-the-floor model ----------

if harley can put a bike together that runs low nines in the 1/4 from the factory i will be impressed. my gixr went 9.96 with the frt end strapped down bone stock and i was amazed. low nines is an impressive feat for any bike, especially a stock one.

Kawasaki just released a new model Ninja a ZX14 1352 cc in-line 4 . Quoted as being the most powerful kawasaki branded motorcycle ever . Imagine what the insurance on that baby would cost you , lol.

I have a buddy that is on his second one. Yes, second one. Even though he is a seasoned high power bike rider, he flubbed last summer. He had 1500 miles on his new ZX-14. He had just washed it at a local dealership and was riding it around the building. For whatever reason, he cracked it wide open in first. It hooked up and took off like a rocket. He hit a van, which totaled the van and the bike. He had on nothing but tennis shoes, and shorts. He was knocked out of his shoes and did a spin on top of his skull. After his wounds all healed, he went out and bought another ZX-14.

Now that right there says something.
Oh, and if you remove the rev limiter on the ZX-14 it will do WELL over 200.
And one reason Sportbikes dont do so well on the strip is they are very wheelie prone. You have to put a stretched swingarm on one to keep the front on the ground for a hard launch. A 600 will actually get off the line faster than a liter bike or ZX-14 or Busa because of this phenomina.

I found it! A Busa pegging the speedo at 220+ mph and doing a 1 wheel salute all the way up to 120+ mph. The link is below.

I wouldnt consider the V rod Destroyer a "Production" bike. H-D only made a scant few of them. They are drag strip only bikes too, not street legal.
