How close did you get your actual miles to the 1000 mile service time?

I have 991 miles on the clock at the moment. Assuming I don't go anywhere this afternoon, its a 14 mile ride to my dealership and I have my service booked for 9am tomorrow morning.

Husband will probably have around 1100-1200 on his by the time his goes in for his service on Monday morning.

 

I did mine at 866 Close enough Have to allow for wait time to get appointment Appointment was available sooner than what I expected but took it anyway. Close is close

 

had mine done last week - my Softail had 1,200 miles on her.
Hubby had his done yesterday - his was 1,389 miles.

 

Didn't plan it, but pulled into the dealership with 999 miles.

1460 by the time I got back from the trip to cali. Dealer said no worries.

 

I pulled into the lot with 998 so I lapped the building a few times and gave it to them with exactly 1000.

 

what exactly are they doing to it at 1000 miles? besides oil and filter of course.

 

The dealer told me wait a few hundred after the 1000 mark before the 1000 service. I rolled into the shop with about 1270 or so.
