Oh, I agree, and he was real good natured about it and so were the guys that were ribbing him about it. I just thought that some folks jumped on the dogpile after the fact and were taking it a little too seriously. That happens sometimes when folks don't read all the posts to get a feel for the tone of the discussion.

What I want to know is why the guy with the R6 is drag racing? 600s are made to handle curves as well as go super fast.Even stock they are finely tuned road racing machines. Why the hell would he WANT to drag a Harley? If he wants to prove his manhood he needs to find CBR600 or ZX600 or GSXR600 to race. Then he'll see how good he really is.
Now if you want to beat him get a GSXR1000 or 750. Learn to ride it right and you'll smoke him in ANY kind of race.

according to 2 harley dealerships in my area he may even win that.A new 600cc jap bike around $7500 t0 $8000 new,a 2006 600 with 6000 miles on it dealership offered $5200 cash for my sons Suzuki gsxr.I tried to TRADE not sell my 06 streetglide,stage 1 kit,rhineharts,black forks,laced wheels,chrome everywhere,detachable tour pack,2 seats,2 sheilds,det.sissy bar,7000 miles,$4500 to $5000 in extra's best offer $15,000 on trade.The quote from both shops we can't give 06's away, small engine,5 speed trans,paid $17,500 new, thats a $2500 loss without options and neither would make a buy it offer.I am not mad about it I have the bike set up like I want it except I would like the 6 speed.

Gee, I thought riding a Harley was all about the joy of riding. About the look of your bike. About the feel of your bike. About the sound. About having a Harley.
