Just a commute in a sand storm. Not that spectacular like in Iraq and Kuwait.

Riding through part of the Sierra Nevada yesterday.
Elevation from <100 ft to > 6500 ft.

Yuba River camp spot

Old but still used fire department in Downieville Ca.

Sierra Buttes about 8600 ft. obviously didn't go up there!

No ******* legit road sign at bottom of Yuba Pass. Winter it's crazy snow and ice, and now during summer it's covered with sand/gravel from either Caltrans or natural sloughing granite.

Took a ride with some friends up to the Catskill Mountains in NY to The Old Schoolhouse Inn and Restaurant for some farm raised Texas Longhorn beef burgers. The cattle are grazing right on the hill behind the Old Schoolhouse. The schoolhouse was built in 1903 and is listed on the national register of historic places. Yes, the burgers are delicious!

Some photos from a ride I did in 2019. I used a Suzuki DL650 for that trip. SE Wisconsin to Tuktoyaktuk, NWT.
When the bike is covered in calcium chloride soaked mud and you crash in the gravel on the way back...you're glad you used a $6,500 bike!

Ghetto, your thread is going to go epic! I need to post some more. We have been in some pretty cool places with the bikes.

Glacier National Park
