I headed west the other morning over towards Liberty, Ms. I wanted to go visit the grave of Mr. Jerry Clower. If you're not familiar with him, look him up, and spend the next many hours being entertained. His brother Sonny, who he speaks a lot about in some of his skits, is buried there too.

Loved ole Jerry Clowers and listened to probably most his stuff. That was entertainment! Loved it when he went to shoot his neighbors old mule and took another friend with him.
In his last days he visited a Dr's office where my sister worked @ in Jackson MS. She said he was a hoot.

I moseyed over to west 'Bama yesterday. I wanted to get some lunch at David's Catfish House in Thomasville. After eating, I headed back westward and came across this marker. I had to stop and check it out.

Hey, hey, got back out on the bike, it was a cautious, yet spirited, and chilly ride, had some bad storms hit a few days ago so there is some debris on the roads.
This was a huge tree, and one of the limbs apparently fell off and just continued growing.
Still fascinated by these things, wish I new what their purpose is, maybe where the mother ship docks.
Right way?
