Default Florida Big Bend area

Not the Texas Big Bend. This is over by the St. Marks lighthouse, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and miles and miles of marsh.

We've transitioned from sightseeing to more educational riding. Today's adventure took us a little over 200 miles, around Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas.

This is one of five fish hatcheries in the state.

I forgot to take pictures until the end. Here's a tank with around 30000 small mouth bass babies.

Once they get around 1 1/2" long, they're transferred to the larger ponds outside.

Just down the road, we found this historical marker. The story is-on a cattle drive, after crossing the Brazos River, the cattle were bedded down for the night in this natural cow pen. It's surrounded by hills to keep them doggies from straying.

Required bike pic!

I feel a little smarter today!

Hope to be posting up some more soon, and hope to see more of you guys pics.

Tri-j very cool, I was starting to worry that we weren't going to get a bike pic, Peak Seaker you'll be the first to know, however; got rid of the knobby's because they handled like $hit, took her out today with her new shoes (Shinko 250's).
