The tires worked well off and on pavement. The front tire did howl like a dump truck on higher speed corners.
The front tire was a Shinko 700 Series rear tire and the rear was a Dunlop Winter Sport run flat snow tire.

I would not have made it to Inuvik and back without these tires.



Full trip was about 8600 miles.

I've wanted to run up into the Thumb to Sebewaing to check it out. Got it done this morning. 150 mile round trip on straight (boring) roads. Not much to see in town, and the marina is on a canal, so you can't even see the bay. No need to rush back any time soon! On a positive note, I'm coming to the conclusion that I need taller/closer bars, and I think I need to change the air cover. Southern Machine makes one that matches my wheels. Hmmmm..... There's always an upside.

Thank you! I learned about them on this forum....along with all the other upgrades I've done to this bike. This place sure is helping me stimulate the economy!
