kids helmets

RE: kids helmets
Whatever fits correctly. I know, vague answer, but your best bet is to take her into the dealer and try on several. I got really lucky, as my wife and son have the same size head, so we only had to buy two helmets. I got the same style and color as mine, so we match (shorty Bell). Ask your daughter for feedback (ie: does the full face make her feel more safe, or does she feel closed in, etc?). Not sure if that helps any, but I hope she enjoys the ride. My son is 7, and loves to ride.

I'd recommend looking at a full face Scorpion brand helmet. These are both DOT and Snell approved and can be gotten pretty cheaply ( at least compared to a FF Shoei or Arai) http://www.scorpionusa.com/ You should try these on in the store, but the site will give a feel for features and price. I got my kids an EXO 700, which they love.

As long as it's a DOT approved helmet and fits correctly you'll be alright. I make my kids (8 & 10) wear full face helmets as I want them to have the most protection they can. Plus it helps with bugs and wind in their face.

If she picks her color she wants a bright pink one,I keep telling her that it would look silly if the colors dont match with mine and the bike.I almost got her convinced to get a black one,It will take a little more time. When my leg gets better I will be taking her shopping for sizes.
