Biker or not?

I encountered a real biker last summer. Sitting at a red light on my Vulcan when a "real biker" rolled up in the next lane. I knew he was a real biker because I heard his stereo coming from a block or two away and when he rolled up he was covered from head to toe in HD gear. He actually stopped and looked over to me and says "nice bike" and chuckled. I suppose since I was riding a metric instead of my HD he needed to let me know how inferior my scoot was to his. Then he turned the stereo up and pulled out when the light changed.
So I decided I didn't want to spoil his superior mood by hanging in his mirror, so as we both pulled onto the on ramp I came up along side him and then grabbed a handful of throttle and showed him my tail lights.

I prefer the term "motorcycle enthusiast". I like others, will ride if it is colder out as long as the roads are clear of salt and ice. Sometimes all one needs during the colder months is a short ride. If it is a ride to the local watering hole or to a coffee shop and then back home then so be it. For me living in the north east, a 20 mile ride is just as satisfying as a 100 mile ride....we do what we do because it makes us happy. Be safe out there.

Haha, this guy was on a bagger but it wasn't a CVO. Come to think of it I should've reminded him of his lowly position since he wasn't cool enough to ride a CVO.
