Default Rear brake pads

I own a 2017 Harley street glide special.. Looking for rear brake pads. Some suggestions were Lyndall extreme brake pads & some say EBC double h pads. Looking for some suggestions.

You're looking for some suggestions but you stated you already received suggestions; "Some suggestions were Lyndall extreme brake pads & some say EBC double h pads".

What information are you looking for? if the only suggestions you received were those above, which ones would you purchase? If you received three more suggestions, which of the five would you purchase?

Which brake pads to use is a common topic. Maybe information from previous threads would help.

In my opinion the stock brake pads from HD will work just fine!!! There is no need to fool around with other brands.

I should rephrase that. I saw on the internet these suggestions. I am getting new tires put on my bike & thought this would be a good time to change pads. Rear pads squeal a lot.

In the past I've run the Lyndall Z+ and was happy with them. But they have gone up in price so that I can get the HD OEM pads for about the same price, so I run the OEM pads and am happy with them.

Check with Surdyke or New Castle HD or other HD dealers that sell online for prices, but you may have to pay shipping too. But I order them with other parts, and some online dealers have free shipping if the order is over a set amount.

I put the EBCs in the front and very happy with them. They’ll go in the back when it’s time.
