Looked through it. It's a push to download their app. Some of the entries into the sweepstakes are unlocked by scheduling dealer service, buying clothes or accessories from the dealer, test riding stuff etc.

At the very least, they get you to ride more, thereby requiring more oil, oil filters, tires, and putting more wear on your motorcycle, thereby getting you to trade up sooner.

Not silly to me. I enjoy these challenges. We are currently doing the Carolina Challenge. Only have four more dealerships to visit. Great way to get out and ride for a reason. May get lucky and may not. Really don’t care. We have however met some really nice folks also doing the challenge. A few years ago they had the Passport ride which was our favorite.
I downloaded this app a long time back. It is nothing new.
Ride safe and enjoy.

Let me get this straight you think it's a gimmick getting you to ride your bike that you spent most likely upwards of 20K to buy and you bought to ride for fun? I must be missing something. The app costs nothing, requires nothing more than you using it while riding and may just win you a prize. I guess I'm a chump to buy into that hype.

People can do what they wish. it's just not for me. It's kinda like a store having a sale to bait you in to get you to spend more money. Their Hog never interested me either. Poker runs really do nothing for me either. I happen to like independent runs. To each their own. but the dealer stuff is a no for me.
