Hasn't that been covered in here already?
My two cents, yes I wear chaps when I need too. But I'm old and have been riding for 55 + years. Don't own a "riding suit" nor will I ever.
Thank you. I admit it never occurred to me to look. My bad. I've been looking at chaps lately, trying to decide if I want to go that route, and when I skimmed through this thread I thought I'd ask the question. Thanks for answering.
I wear a MotoPort mesh kevlar jacket and overpants, it's got no labels on it, I'm not advertising for anybody, I don't care if I look like I fit in the crowd or not, I'm not dressed like a pirate or a squid or a BMW wannabe, I'm wearing kevlar because I frickin' hate road rash, and between the heavy duty armor and the kevlar it should keep most bones from breaking if I have a bad crash.
But if anyone's wondering, yes it's worth the money. I've had a bad crash before, and I'd be 100% dead right now if it wasn't for the MotoPort and the Icon AirFlite helmet.

I have a pair that are like new I'll sell cheap enough it won't hurt you if don't like chaps .
Decided if cold enough I needed chaps, I'll leave the bike in the garage or wear my insulated Carhart bibs
whenever I see someone wearing full-on chaps, pants, leather everything, hat, etc. I think of that dude in the Village people. The one on the right, I make it a point to NOT dress like him. I have a mix of jackets, some harley, some non-harley, I typically wear jeans,.
