I wear Harely branded 'gear' because I have it. I wear appropriate gear while riding, and much of it is from the MoCo because it was purchased for me as gifts.
I tend to buy Harley shirts because I like them and I've gotta wear something.
I buy T-shirts from the discount section and they are typically less expensive than a comparable shirt elsewhere with any other logo or brand.

Friends & family opt to buy HD stuff as a gift and that's just fine with me.
Do I look like a HD billboard? Not really, since you can't see the shirt under my jacket/vest.

 

I have HD brand stuff because family has given it to me as gifts. I have ask them to not purchase anything from HD any more. The only thing I want anymore that says HD on it are my 3 bikes. And I could see pulling their dam badges off so they know it is my bike not theirs.

 

Your not giving enough options.
Some of my gear is HD, not all and not all the time.

 

Hmm, t or long sleeve shirt, Wrangler jeans, an old pair of H-D boots that I've had long enough to have heels and half soles replaced a couple of times, either a 17-year-old H-D leather jacket or a H-D mesh jacket depending on the weather. Add a pair of deerskin gloves I bought off eBay and a barely legal half helmet and I'm set.

 

Depends on where I'm going & what the weather is. HD sells a lot of nice stuff, but a lot of it is over priced just because it says Harley Davidson, and it's not even necessarily made in the USA. However, I'm not opposed to paying up when I see something in the store that I think is cool (sometimes). I did spend $15 on a sticker not too long ago . I don't wear all the gear all the time. I don't think I even have "all the gear". I wear a full face helmet all the time, full finger gloves all the time, and a textile jacket most of the time. I have kevlar jeans and riding boots. The jeans are worn about half the time, and the boots most of the time unless I'm going to be walking or hiking a lot. In that case I wear my hiking boots or work boots. It just depends.

I generally wear a t shirt (Harley or generic) and jeans and either boots or tennis shoes. If I need a jacket, it is one of my navy flight jackets

 

Does anyone wear chaps? What are your thoughts on them?

My two cents, yes I wear chaps when I need too. But I'm old and have been riding for 55 + years. Don't own a "riding suit" nor will I ever.
